This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Parker Pens. All opinions are 100% mine.

An innovative new writing system is set to revolutionize the look and feel of putting pen to paper. Parker aims to gain a new generations interest in fine writing by creating a one of a kind pen that is as beautiful as it is to look at. The innovation consists of a cutting edge refill tip and an engraved metallic hood that, together, constitute the newest technology in pens.

In 1939 the Parker Pen company developed a pen whose technology was entirely new. That pen, the Parker 51, was introduced in the U.S. market in 1941 and went on to become a phenomenal success. The pen is amazing in that it took the traditional fountain pen design and “hid” most of the nib beneath a shield of plastic. The result was a fountain pen that wrote in a manner similar to a rollerball, and whose ink would dry almost instantly. More than 60 years later many of the pens continue to work and do so beautifully. I should know since I have a collection of a few dozen Parker 51 pens!
Well, the Parker Pen Company has done it again. With the Parker Ingenuity collection, the company is introducing their 5th Technology refills. 5th Technology combines “the best of all current writing modes- the beauty of a fountain pen, the smooth writing experience of a rollerball and the ease of a ball point.”   The bottom line is this — the Parker Ingenuity line is gorgeous!
I was not previously familiar with the line as I have all but moved away from pen and ink but did some research and was wowed by the line, the new technology and the look of the Ingenuity. I love the fact that it makes the same impression as a fountain pen while avoiding all of the potential headaches that come with the older pen technology. And lets face it, when you pull out a beautiful pen at the start of a meeting it makes an impression! I was so impressed in fact that I am seriously considering buying one for myself.
Here’s how the company explains their new line:
Through extensive research into customers needs and combining consumers favorite features of each of the four current rating modes – the classic beauty of the fountain pen, the smoothness and precision of the rollerball, the ease and longevity of the ballpoint pen, and the smudge free, fluid experience of the porous point – researchers have developed the fifth technology. Utilizing this revolutionary and cutting edge technology, Parker has created an innovative arsenal of pens dubbed the Parker ingenuity collection – the first breakthrough pen technology in many years that comes in six beautiful finishes.
Is this a pen you would want to own? We would love to know.
