ViewSonic just announced new 7″ and 10″ ViewPad tablets during Mobile World Congress. The ViewSonic tablets are “designed to fit into today’s mobile lifestyle. They are the perfect options for consumers to surf the web and interact with friends or for the mobile worker to enhance productivity whilst on the go.”

The ViewPad G70 has Android™ 4 OS and a 7” screen. ViewSonic’s ViewScene 3D interface enables “easy access to all of the G70 features and functions, delivering a simple and elegant user experience”. It has 3G, Bluetooth and WiFi along with a mini HDMI, a micro USB and a mini USB for connecting USB devices. 1GB RAM and 4GB storage are stock and the storage is expandable up to 32GB with a Micro SD.

In addition, ViewSonic’s ViewPad G70

incorporates a high quality 1024×600 resolution display with a multi-touch capacitive screen, perfect for displaying images and movies captured with the 2MP rear camera or using the 0.3MP front camera for Video communication. The G70’s 8-bit colour depth, 250 nits brightness and 500:1 contrast ratio gives optimum static or motion image quality for work or play.

Full Google Mobile Services certification gives the ViewPad G70 access to thousands of applications on Android Market and with GPS/AGPS functionality; the G70 ensures that you can benefit from the multitude of “location services” offered. With an RRP of sub $399 the ViewPad G70 is launching in Europe during Q2.

The new E70 is a 7” tablet that offers “the ultimate in value and fun for a premium tablet experience at an affordable price”. It has Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, is super light weight and has a compact design which still offering premium apps and services. It has a 1GHz processor and 4GB memory storage along with a front-facing camera, Wi-Fi and Micro SD expandable storage up to 32 GB. It is, “One of the most portable and affordable tablet products on the market, ViewPad E70 is designed to meet consumer demand for a tablet that delivers on both quality features and value.”

It will be sub $199 and is launching in Europe during Q2.

Then there is the ViewPad E100. It too has Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich. A 9.7” 1024 x 768 resolution, IPS display with LED backlights is there to watch and touch and 1GHz Cortex processor combines with it to “produce cutting edge performance with crystal clear images and wide viewing angles”. It weighs just 620g and is only 9.1mm thin. The ViewPad E100 has a RRP of sub $399 for Wi-Fi and sub $499 for 3G, and will launch in Q2.

The ViewPad® P100 is for “today’s busy mobile professional” It runs Windows® 7 Professional and features dual cameras and a crisp 10” IPS 1280×800 display panel.

An Intel N2600 dual core processor running at 1.6GHz powers it.

The ViewPad P100 (WiFi) has an RRP of sub $799 and the P100 (3G) an RRP of sub $999. Both will be available late Q2 2012.

Finally there is the ViewPad 10e. It is designed as ViewSonic’s “power efficient model; it is paper thin and delivers more than 200 hours of standby life, ensuring the battery satisfies even the most demanding power users”. Measuring just 9.1mm thin, the 9.7” enhanced, multi-viewing IPS display runs Android 2.3 but is upgradable to Android 4. The ViewPad 10e includes the “ViewScene 3D interface to bring a user-friendly, 3D-like experience to consumers”. The ViewPad 10e (WiFi) has an RRP of sub $369 and the 3G version an RRP of sub $449. WiFi is available now and the 3G version will be out in April.
