AViiQ Portable Charging Station with Cable Rack System Now Avaialable

We reviewed AViiQ’s portable travel station last August (read the review). It is a great way to charge and sync numerous devices from one wall outlet. It also is a convenient and “clean” way to carry a charge/sync hub in a compact accessory. It was not, however, without it’s faults. Primary among the issues I found was the fact that the cable management system, consisting of overlapping fabric slots, wasn’t the easiest way to keep everything neat and tidy. Now AViiQ is back with an updated version. It costs a bit more than the original (which appears to still be on sale as well) but it may answer this issue.

The new charging station is

Designed to organize cables and provide power to charge your multiple mobile devices.

When you’re on the go, small details can get lost. With a million things running through your mind, sometimes those tiny cables get left behind. The AViiQ Portable Charging Station is designed for the individual who does not want to spend time multi-tasking cables. Taking up only one outlet port, it gives you the ability to charge 4 devices. Complete with a zip-up bag, it’s the companion that helps you remember the little things.

Cable Rack System

Sync to your computer with our detachable cable winders. Use the Charging Station to charge your devices and when you need to sync data with any of them, just quickly detach it from the rails and plug it into your computer. After you’re done, place it back into the charging station and you’re ready to go.

The charging station offers 4 USB charging slots and one pass through data port. It can even handle “larger power-consuming products such as the Apple® iPad™, which requires a 10v charger” thanks to one of the ports.

Let’ be clear, the Charging Station isn’t small and it does have some heft. To be precise, it is 10 inches (254 mm) Width: 5 inches (127 mm) Depth: 1.5 inches (38 mm) and weighs 7.5 oz. Still, for what you get it is a small price to pay, as is the $99.99 MSRP.
