TP-Link Brings Out New Power Over Ethernet Switch for Businesses
My experience with TP-Link is more from the SOHO and home product networking lines. Those routers and switches have had good performance and have been reliable in my home environment.   TP-Link also has products for the enterprise as well.  That also includes the new power over Ethernet Layer 2 switch they just brought out, namely the new TL-SG3424P switch.  This switch packs in:

Power over Ethernet is used to help power access points that are mounted on the wall or in the ceiling.  This makes it necessary to install only a piece of Cat-5e cable in the wall or ceiling and no electrical wiring.  This makes it much easier to install a wifi access point in places where there is no electrical wiring.  This switch also supports VLAN(Virtual Lans) and more enterprise level features designed to keep your business network safe and secure and easily managed.

All of this is available now for a MSRP of $499.99 which isn’t at all bad for a router with features like this.  For more on the specifics on this switch head on over to TP-Link.
