Diana Krall is a Grammy winning, million selling jazz vocalist and pianist, whose singing and playing have earned her accolades and made her one of the top-selling artists in all of jazz and pop music. We recently saw her live with Paul McCartney, and she had a major role in his latest album, arranging, playing, and directing the band made up of musicians she has worked with for years. There is no denying her talent or her impact on pop and jazz over the last two decades.

She is also a beautiful woman married to Elvis Costello and who has never been shy about posing for leggy pictures for her album covers and press shots. This isn’t a problem for most people who appreciate her for her artistry, but her album cover in lingerie for her latest release has stirred up a great deal of controversy in the jazz community, with some calling it gratuitous and pandering … and others saying ‘good for her’ considering how great she looks as she approaches her 48th birthday in a couple of months. I continue not to care so long as she produces solid music and maintains her artistry and vision.

Her latest release arrives next week, and is currently exclusively streaming for free at USAToday. Unlike the normal album-as-single-track stream, Krall has this as a per-song SoundCloud preview, meaning you can pick and choose which songs to check out and skip from one to the next – BEST way to preview!

Head to USAToday and check out the free stream and preorder the album from iTunes if you like it!

Also, she is appearing on October 1st on the Kelly & Michael show.
