Shortly after we got power and internet back my new iPad mini arrived. I hadn’t had much of a chance to check it out until today but I will say my first impressions are rather positive. Sure, I wish it had a Retina display but there is no doubt that, at least for me, having the lower screen resolution isn’t a deal breaker. I did want to protect my iPad mini from day one and Incipio was kind enough to make sure I had one of their NGP cases in hand before the iPad arrived. (To be precise, I had it in hand two hours before the iPad arrived. Thanks for getting it to me so quickly Incipio!!)
Here’s a quick look at this simple method for protecting the newest member of the iOS family.
From Incipio:
Semi-rigid, shock absorbing NGP material
Wrap around design for easy installation
Snug fit ensures protection
There’s nothing fancy about this case but if you need to protect your iPad mini in the simplest way possible this is a great option. It protects the sides and back while leaving the screen completely free (and exposed) without adding too much bulk or weight.
As I note in the video, while I’m not a huge fan of the way this case material feels but I do like the simple way this case protects my newest device.
You can learn more and order yours on the Incipio website.
MSRP: $24.99
What I Like: Covers everything but the screen; Offers scratch and bump protection; Under $25
What Needs Improvement: No screen protection; Material feels like what it is… synthetic
