Larian Studios Releases Launch Trailer for Dragon Commander

Divinity Dragon Commander

Divinity Dragon Commander

Once again, I have cool news about Larian Studios, the creators of one of my all-time favorite games — Divine Divinity. In early April I talked about the Divinity: Original Sin Kickstarter, and a couple of weeks later noted the addition of a tier that also gave you a digital copy of Larian’s RTS (real-time strategy) game Divinity Dragon Commander.

Well, today is the release date for Divinity Dragon Commander, and Larian Studios has published a launch trailer. Rather than some bland cinematic, this trailer actually shows you the purpose of different elements of the game, how you play and some of your experiences. In other words, it is actually worth watching to see if you might like to play the game!

As a reminder, here are a few Divinity Dragon Commander features:

  • Real-time Strategy: Command your sea, land, and air forces in real-time. Combined operations and determining the perfect locations and times to strike are crucial to every victory.
  • Dragon Combat: During real-time strategy mode, transform into a dragon to support your troops in combat and obliterate the enemy using powerful dragon abilities.
  • Turn-based Campaign: Direct your conquest on the turn-based world map; plan several moves ahead, build formidable armies and invest in the right upgrades for technology and magic.

You can buy the game at GoG.com or on Steam. For more info head to the Divinity Dragon Commander page, or to the Larian Vault to grab your Divinity Original Sin Kickstarter digital game code.

Oh, and of course I have the game and will be playing it and will review it here in the coming weeks.
