Dan loves his small wireless speakers, but the Polk Audio LSi25 Speakers may bring him back to component stereo systems. The speakers are pricey, and they require the addition of an independent amplifier, but in return they offer huge, impressive sound. Dan took a look for eBay as part of their huge My Gadgets Giveaway.

As Dan points out in his post over on the eBay Influencer’s Blog, while you can get good sound from a small speaker, big, teeth-rattling, bone-shaking sound won’t come from something that can sit on a bookshelf. For that kind of sound, you’ll want something like Polk Audio’s LSi25 speakers.

Dan recently took a look at them, and he was impressed by what he saw — or rather, heard. The Polk Audio LSi25 Speakers are huge, standing 49.75″ high by 17″ deep. They also pump out big sound, thanks to each speaker having two 5.25” dynamic balance drivers, a 10” subwoofer and a 1” high performance ring radiator tweeter. The 10” subwoofer is powered by a 150 watt internal amplifier — talk about powerful bass!

And it isn’t just the specific components Polk Audio used for the speakers that makes them sound as impressive as they do. Polk Audio saw fit to arrange them in an advanced crossover configuration that helps deliver great sound. Check out Dan’s writeup on the Polk Audio LSi25 Speakers. Then make sure to click-through to the my gadget giveaway that eBay is running. There are great prizes each week, and a grand prize of over $35,000 that will include these speakers and much more!

The contest ends soon, so you’ll want to enter quickly for a chance to win.
