Mind Shift Gear Lens Switch Case Review -

Mind Shift Gear Lens Switch Case

If you need more storage and flexibility for your camera bag/backpack check out the Lens Switch Case from Mind Shift Gear. This lightweight case offers added flexibility and helps keep an extra lens, flash or microphone handy. Just $42.50, it is designed for the rotation180° pro backpack, but I see it being useful in many different situations. Check it out.

Here’s a look at the Lens Shift Case on video.

Mind Shift Gear describes the Lens Shift Case in this way:

The Switch Case is a lightweight and versatile unpadded modular lens/accessory pouch that can be carried on the belt of the rotation180° pro. Lightweight and versatile, this belt pouch will accommodate most wide angle to telephoto lenses including 17-40, 14-24, tilt shift, 24-70 and 70-200 lenses. An external zippered pocket holds filters, cable release or a cleaning cloth.

The Lens Shift Case isn’t a padded case. If you are looking for a way to keep your lens, flash or microphone well-protected this may not be the accessory for you. If, on the other hand, you are more concerned with keeping those camera add-ons handy you’ll find it more than a bit convenient.

A cool feature of the Lens Shift Case is the “pop-down” feature. This lets the bottom of the case unzip and expand to handle larger lenses. It is innovative and something you would miss if you weren’t looking closely.

Of course the Lens Shift Case also has a fitted rain cover that is kept hidden in the bottom waiting for you to need it; when the skies open up you will be glad it is there.

On the exterior of the case is a small zippered area that is perfect for filters, SD cards, and other small items.

The Lens Shift Case has a single divider inside. It is adjustable and removable so you can set up the interior to fit the specific accessories you want to keep handy.

The Lens Shift Case is just $42.50. It is a great, convenient way to add some carrying capacity and convenience to your camera bag. And while it is designed with a specific backpack in mind the case is flexible enough to use with pretty much any bag or pack. It doesn’t offer padding but the convenience is worth the price of needing to be a bit more careful. Check it out and order yours here.
