SteelSeries Impresses Again with the Siberia Elite Gaming Headphones

SteelSeries_siberia-elite_hero.pngSteelSeries, the leading gaming headphone manufacturer, recently introduced a set of headphones that will really turn heads.  The SteelSeries Siberia Elite  pack some serious specs including Dolby 7.1 virtual surround sound and Dolby ProLogic IIx for an even more immersive soundscape.  The Siberia Elite cans also feature a retractable noise-cancelling microphone; they retail for $199.99.

Compatible with Macs, PCs, tablets and phones, the Siberia Elite come in either black or stark white and feature color changing LED rings around the cans.  The earcups are made of soft memory foam padding that will reduce the fatigue of long-term use.  The cable system is swappable, which is how you’re able to use the Siberia Elite with almost any music or sound source.  As you’d expect with high-end headphones like these, the cable has been flattened to reduce tangle.

If you’re a gamer, you owe it to yourself to check these headphones out.  If we receive a review unit, we’ll be sure to let you know how it performs in the real world.

I'm an architect by trade, but the overarching theme of my life has always been trying to keep up with the newest, coolest technology. Ever since I picked up an NES controller, I've been hooked on the latest and greatest gadgets, gizmos, and toys. Whether it's gaming, mobile phones, and accessories, or PCs and Apple products, I'm interested. I use many Apple products in my daily life, such as the iPhone, iPad, and my MacBook Pro. I've also built a few PCs in my day, so I'd like to say that I'm a pretty well-rounded techie.
