The iPhone 5 Case Was a LunaTik; Fortunately, Our Israeli Bus Driver Wasn't

I’m finishing up leading a ten day trip to Israel that saw us traverse the entire country. From Tel Aviv to the Golan Heights to Jerusalem, we spent a good deal of time on our bus. Our driver Yuri always had his iPhone and iPad handy, and two days into the trip I noticed he had a new iPhone case.

Yes, Yuri was using one of LunaTik’s impressive cases. He laughed when I explained to him that it had been a Kickstarter project, that Judie’s husband Kevin hasn’t upgraded his iPhone because he loves using his iPhone 4/4S LunaTik case. I laughed when he told me he got his from eBay. And then it struck me … Yuri’s LunaTik case is a lot like Israelis themselves. From the outside they look as tough as tough can be. Inside, however, there is a level of refinement and a softness that is, at times, surprising to see.
