Titanfall’s developer, Respawn, held a media event last week in London, but there was an embargo on all video and impressions that expired yesterday.  You can guess what happened yesterday as TONS of videos and commentary showing footage from this weekend’s beta build flooded the interwebs.  Past the break, you’ll find a few choice links for your viewing pleasure.

As you’ll see in the videos below, there are a lot of reasons to be excited about Titanfall.  Youtubers were really wowed by the parkour elements of the game, the weaponry, and of course, the hulking giant mech warriors known as the Titans.

So, after watching all of these videos, are you excited yet?

The beta is coming up this weekend, and if you haven’t signed up, you can do so here.  Unfortunately, I’ll be out of the country this weekend, so I won’t be able to experience the beta test.

Tell us what you’re most looking forward to with Titanfall, below.  Or, conversely, if you’re not too excited about Titanfall, let’s discuss in the comments, I’d love to hear from you!

I'm an architect by trade, but the overarching theme of my life has always been trying to keep up with the newest, coolest technology. Ever since I picked up an NES controller, I've been hooked on the latest and greatest gadgets, gizmos, and toys. Whether it's gaming, mobile phones, and accessories, or PCs and Apple products, I'm interested. I use many Apple products in my daily life, such as the iPhone, iPad, and my MacBook Pro. I've also built a few PCs in my day, so I'd like to say that I'm a pretty well-rounded techie.
