Cursed Ship Collector's Edition Comes Haunting iOS Devices!

Cursed Ship Collector’s Edition Major features:

The great cruise ship Ondine was lost on her maiden voyage, and now Trident Corporation has hired you to locate the ship and rescue the remains. But when you find the ship your real adventure begins!

The Cursed Ship lives up to its name as you see shadowy figures, talk to ghosts who will help or hinder you throughout your quest, and deal with the green fumes and numerous hazards as you try to uncover what really happened to the Ondine!

As you progress you will meet people who seem trapped between worlds, and you can journey between the worlds as you seek to solve their mystery. Each area has objects around to find, multi-part puzzles, hidden object scenes and more. You will have to think and stay observant to complete each area – but there is also a hint system tied to the level of the game you choose. The hints are clear, and the timer recharges quickly enough to keep you going if you get really stuck.

Ease of use/Overall performance:

The Cursed Ship falls in line with the genre norms – if you have played any other hidden object games, you will settle into this one immediately – it is a fairly standard genre game in terms of mechanics and gameplay.

As noted the technical aspects of the game are excellent – great visuals, snappy performance in terms of load-times and transitions, tap-accuracy is solid, and I never had a crash. The sound and extras are all excellent, and overall I was very impressed.

Would use again/recommend?: Definitely! Aside from too much backtracking, The Cursed Ship is a great experience. The puzzles are set up to be challenging but not frustrating. The story is engaging and keeps you working through area after area. You will spend several hours working through The Cursed Ship, and it is enjoyable throughout!

Suggested changes/wish list for updates: Less constant backtracking!
