The company describes the product as being the perfect way to carry and protect digital and travel essentials. It fits an iPad mini or 8″ tablet as well as a smartphone, pen, credit cards, passport and more. There is even enough space for the company’s slim battery pack although that is a separate purchase.

The KNOMO KNOMAD Mini Portable Organizer is constructed from lightly coated cotton canvas twill fabric. It has antique brass hardware and natural raw-edge leather trim for an added degree of style and sophistication.

It is also worth nothing that the organizer comes with “MY KNOMO ID.” This simple system is a great way to add a layer of protection to your device and all the items you stow in the organizer. It does, however, depend upon the good-will of strangers to return the Knomo Knomad Mini Portable Organizer if they find it. As the company explains:

Register your unique Myknomo ID number found on the ID tag inside your Knomo, and if lost, the finder can easily contact us with your unique code. We will retrieve your Knomo and return it to you free of charge.

The KNOMO KNOMAD Mini Portable Organizer is a great way to travel light but still have your essentials with you. It can be used as a stand-along product or it can be used along with a gear bag in order to help you stay a bit more organized on the go. The materials are first-rate. The construction is excellent and the design is both attractive and functional. If you don’t want to keep your small tablet in a bulky case but still want it to be protected on the go this is a great option. At $60 it is a bit on the pricey side but, for the money, you get a product that works well and looks professional.

What I Like: Excellent materials, design and construction; Holds just enough but not too much; Looks classy and professional

What Needs Improvement: Some may balk at the $60 price tag but keep in mind this is a luxury product and is priced accordingly; Tablet is only protected when inside the organizer
