Superhero fans now have a glimpse in Marvel Studios’ future movie release calendar up to 2019. This following slate joins Marvel’s 2015 films The Avengers: Age of Ultron, which will open in theaters in likely record-breaking fashion and the first “Phase 3” film Ant-Man starring Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lily, and Michael Pena.

This Marvel Cinematic update occurred this past Tuesday (October 28) at El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles, California and included appearances from Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, and the new Black Panther Chadwick Boseman (42, Get on Up) who will first appear in the next Captain America film in 2016 (would be great to see Boseman teamed with Anthony Mackie as the possibly returning Falcon).

Mark your calendars with the following Marvel Studios films, which will feature their first triple film release in 2017:

Now, check out how Marvel matches up with Warner Brother’s DC Comics films, Fox’s X-Men, Deadpool & Fantastic Four film(s) and Sony’s Spider-Man solo and related films (Note: release schedule subject to change; DC’s schedule includes 2020…I also my personal picks in each year to galvanize this epic superhero showdown):

2015

Marvel Studios brings their “A” game with The Avengers: Age of Ultron (May 1) and Ant-Man (July 17) with friendly competition from Fox’s Fantastic Four reboot (August 7).

MY PICK: Ultron in a landslide.

2016

Deadpool (Feb. 12)

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (March 25)

Captain America: Civil War (May 6) / X-Men: Apocalypse (May 27)

MY PICK: Sorry Cap, Wolverine’s got the edge in this one though it won’t be an Apocalyptic loss.

Suicide Squad (Aug. 5)

Doctor Strange (Nov 4) / The Sinister Six (Nov. 11)

MY PICK: Depends on who Marvel casts as the Strange lead actor, but I have to “pick Six“.

2017

The Wolverine sequel (March 3)

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (May 5)

Justice League (June 23)

Thor: Ragnarok (July 28) / The Fantastic Four sequel (July 14)

MY PICK: The thunder-god takes this one.

Black Panther (Nov 3) / Wonder Woman (Nov. 17)

MY PICK: To quote action hero Wesley Snipes, “always bet on Black.”

Fox’s Venom spin-off (no release date yet)

2018

The Flash (March 23)

Avengers: Infinity War, Part 1 (May 4)

Captain Marvel (July 6) / Aquaman (July 27)

MY PICK: Marvel sinks her competition in this debut battle.

Inhumans (Nov. 2)

The Amazing Spider-Man 3 (possibly without Andrew Garfield starring…no release date yet)

2019

Shazam (April 5) / Avengers: Infinity War, Part 2 (May 3) / Justice League 2 (June 14)

2020

Cyborg (April 3)

Green Lantern (June 19)

MY PICK: Part 2 wins between a DC sandwich.

Fan definitely win out with this huge competition as studios bend over backwards for blockbuster dollars. Other related developments like Marvel’s Netflix deal, deals to top-notch directors, related TV series/media, and other home video developments will also be important factors.

Will you be seeing all of them like me?
