Ivso has become my go-to company when I am looking for decent but inexpensive cases for Non-Apple devices. The IVSO Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet compact case is a great Android tablet case in point. It’s price is under $30, and you can get it through Amazon for half that.

This isn’t the kind of fancy leather case that will wrap Sony’s latest Android tablet in the highest-quality natural materials, but you would not know that by the look or the feel. This is a premium luxury case without the premium luxury price. That makes it a no-brainer if you plant pick up the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet compact.

The case snaps around the Android tablet with a satisfying click. The tabs on the left side are only at the corners so these are the points you will want to press back and release the tablet when you want to remove it from the case. You don’t need tomorrow however since the car a second grabs the tablet with a surprising amount of security.
On the right side of the case when the tablet is inside are four magnets. These hold the cover securely in place when the cover is closed.
What is most surprising is that this case doesn’t add anything of significance to the footprint of the tablet.
The cover is one piece of material that is segmented into three parts. This allows it to function as a unified cover while also serving as a triangular stand for viewing and typing. Think Apple Smart Cover but for Android. It not only works, but it works well.
A small piece of material in the middle bears the company name and magnets to keep the cover closed when the time a bet is not in use.
