The VERT Wearable Jump Rate Monitor is described as a non-invasive, miniature inertial measurement unit (IMU), that allows athletes to perform in games and practices without discomfort. VERT units can calculate motion in all directions, and does so through a proprietary algorithm that contains more than 53 simulations to measure vertical height.

Users can also expand services with the VERTcoach team management app on iPad where the device pairs with the app into a monitoring system used by coaches who can access real-time jump rates, jump heights and any additional jump-related measurements to motivate athletes and keep them safe.

Available now for $124.99 at www.myvert.com with accessories including device packages with the different belts, separate belts, team packs, and multi-charger.

The VERT Wearable Jump Rate Monitor was also the first piece of wearable technology to be featured during a NCAA broadcast on live TV during a women’s volleyball match between two of the nation’s top programs, the University of Florida and the University of South Carolina.
