When my kids were young, it was the early days of educational computer games, and we were fortunate to have some awesome experiences with software that was interactive and educational. Times have rapidly advanced, and now a new game called Dino Tales presents an interactive world for kids to create and explore using methods including SIRI technology ‘word wheels’.
– Dino Tales has been built in conjunction with educational specialists and is aimed at kids aged 4-11
– The aim of the game is for kids to explore the world which is filled with dinosaurs, plants and fossils as well as a large amount of games and activities
– Children can create a digital Storybook from their adventure which can then be shared and read with an adult
– The game uses Kuato’s KAGE technology that adjusts and evolves the language according to the user age group and includes an interactive dino guide (Darwin – powered by the SIRI tech) to whom kids can ask questions such as “how fast can a T-Rex run?” via the special Word Wheels.
Note: the use of SIRI is not voice recognition, but instead a system of word wheels with the Darwin guide interacting with kids playing the game.
