Although it’s a little late for Valentine’s Day, Sand Sign wants to write a love note on the beach for you! Their Kickstarter campaign has 22 days left and they are looking to break the record for the Most Love Declarations Written on the Beach. In return for your Kickstarter pledge, Sand Sign will write and photograph your love note.

These love notes will be written by artists on the beautiful Sosua-Cabarete beach in the Dominican Republic and you have the option of receiving a simple digital photo or having a video filmed from high above with the assistance of a drone. If the Sand Sign Kickstarter campaign gets over 1,000 participants, more beach locations will be added including places like Costa Rica and Thailand.

For $9, you can have your message written in the sand and professionally photographed or for $19 you can get a “making-of” video of your message along with photographs from 3 different angles. Bump that pledge up to $59 if you’d like an aerial video of your message from a drone as long as you’re one of the first 50 backers at that level. You can also get a video with local musicians included for $80. For $300, you can get a large sand art piece like the one you see below.  There are a lot of different options that will suit just about anyone’s fancy.

It’s a neat little campaign and it certainly doesn’t cost very much to have your love note written in the sand and photographed, so how many Gear Diary readers are lining up to join in this world record? The Sand Sign campaign ends on March 14th, so hurry up and make a pledge if you’re interested!
