As of Monday, you can not only have Amazon deliver your groceries, but the next time you need a TV mounted, or have your light fixtures fixed, or even have a kids room painted, you’ll be able to just request it, add it to your Amazon shopping cart and not have to deal with Google searching for the best companies.

Amazon's New Home Service Will Do Everything You're too Lazy to Do

Amazon, playing your home service search engine, they now offer a nationwide “Home Services” initiative that will connect shoppers with local service providers, some you know, and some you may have never heard. Some names like Dish television service, Pep Boys, and even Taskrabbit.

They surely are making it a mission for you to never leave their site, and it’s certainly making Amazon way more efficient. I’ve already begun ordering my groceries through Amazon, and just last week they announced unlimited cloud service, so Amazon may be “the” place to go for everything in a few months.

Vice President over at Amazon Peter Faricy says:

“It’s the next natural extension for Amazon to move into home services

Amazon has been testing the service behind closed doors to a select few for a few months since last fall in L.A., Seattle and New York, but effective Monday, March 30th, the service has gone nationwide. Amazon will receive a cut of all services provided, depending on the type. Everything from grass cutters, house cleaners and dog walkers will be apart of the equation.
