Something that will help builders and contractors expand their businesses, the Chamberlain Wi-Fi garage Door Opener with Smartphone Control is one of the few features that works on all of the major smart home platforms, from Apple’s HomeKit to SmartThings by Samsung, even Google’s Nest and the Wink App. The Garage Door Opener will let you open, close and monitor the largest door in your home from anywhere, so you’ll never forget to close it again.

The Chamberlain Garage Door Opener will send alerts to your smartphone when the doors open and close to tell you when your child has made it home safely, as well as when someone is coming or going. This also makes your smartphone a house key so you can go for a run without taking your key, or you can even let your neighbors and children inside when you’re miles away.

Available in two models next month at Home Depot, the Chamberlain Wi-Fi garage Door Opener with Smartphone Control will retail from $250 to $270. Chamberlain is also offering MyQ Garage, a simple $129 model that is basically an add-on to existing garage door openers, just in case you do not need a new opener.Open Your Garage using Chamberlain's WiFi SmartPhone Garage Door Opener
