Since Apple snatched up Beats, many figured they would start working on a music streaming service, and it looks like they are on their way to that. Late on Friday, Apple released three new colors for their Beats Solo 2 Wireless headphones to match the three available colors of the iPhone 6 & 6 Plus: space gray, gold, and silver.

Prior to this, you just had the standard colors of red, blue, black and white. Now it looks like Apple is helping Beats have mass appeal, as well as having their headphones match the new Macbook and Apple Watch with these three new colors.

Apple Makes Their Mark on Their Acquisition; Beats & iPhones Now Coordinate

Back in November of 2014, the wired Beats By Dre Solo 2 headphones were released literally right before Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine inked a $3 billion deal to join the ranks over at Apple.

This is a good thing for folks who didn’t really like the appeal of the original colors, or if you just feel the urge to match your headphones with your phone. The only issue is the price hasn’t changed at all. At $300, they are expensive. And since Beats is now owned by Apple, you shouldn’t expect that price to lower anytime soon. So if you’re in the market for a pair of Beats, or just like the novelty of looking cool wearing them, you have three more options to choose from.
