Beyzacases Tule Leather Wallet: Carry Your Smartphone in One of the Classiest Wallets Yet

One of the things that I loved about my monogram Louis Vuitton Zippy organizer wallet was its design. It could hold all of my credit and ID cards, bills, and plane tickets in one compact, zippable clutch The only thing it couldn’t do was hold my phone; if it had a little bigger pocket, it would have been perfect.

Someone at Beyzacases must have been thinking the same thing, because they took the basic idea of the Zippy and they ran with it. The Beyzacases Tule is the perfect wallet/clutch for women (or men) who want a wallet that can hold all of their essentials as well as their smartphone.

The Tule is an approximately 8″ long by 5″ wide by 1″ thick zipped wallet composed of gorgeous, textured leather waves, similar to the Louis Vuitton Epi design, actually. I suspect that it will hide scratches and it should be easy to keep clean.

Available in beige, black, or the deep bordeaux I was sent, the wallet is a perfect blend of form and function. The leather that the bordeaux wallet is composed of is absolutely stunning; it feels lovely to touch, and it has such a deep wine color that has a hint of purple and brown; it’s really lovely. It would be nice if there were more than three colors to choose from — perhaps some bright hues like electric blue or fuchsia — but that’s a minor quibble.

While you can use the wallet as a stand-alone clutch, bear in mind that it won’t be large enough to carry keys or a tube of lipstick, but it is still small enough to tuck into a favorite medium or large size handbag, laptop bag, or gear bag.

The front of the Tule has an embossed Beyzacases logo.

A 17.25″ heavy silver metal zipper with large metal pull secures the wallet, and when unzips allows the wallet to open completely like a book.

The back of the Tule has bezacases discreetly embossed.

Inside there is an approximately 7″ tall by 3.75″ wide flap pocket that can hold airplane tickets, a passport, or receipts. On the right side are slots to hold up to six credit or ID cards.

Behind there are three main sections. The first is a 6″ long gusseted pocket which is perfect for holding a smartphone without a case.

In the center is a zippered pouch perfect for loose change. This is also the perfect place to keep spare SIM cards, memory cards, SIM card adapters … all the things that we carry that are small and easy to lose.

Behind the center section is a panel with six more credit or ID card slots. The gusseted area directly in front of it is perfect for carrying cash, receipts, or other loose paperwork. Just behind that panel is a slash pocket which is perfect for stowing an emergency $20 bill or larger denomination bills that you don’t want people to see when you pull out smaller bills.

The iPhone 6 fits perfectly into the smartphone pocket, as does the Huawei Mate S, and even the iPhone 6 Plus (although it is a tighter fit). Granted, none of these phones will fit if they are inside a case, but if you look at the wallet as your case, there’s no problem.
