CM4 Q Card Case for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Review

One thing I have seen with many iPhone cases is the option to throw a credit card or ID in the case itself. There just seems to be a need to have a card with them. Will the CM4’s Q Card Case excite me or will it continue to bore me? Let’s find out if it’s worth a buy!

Other than an ID card, I have no use for a case with a slot in it. I always carry a wallet because I almost always need everything in it. I guess it’s a guy thing? Not sure, but I just don’t get jazzed over cases that include a slot for a card. This one looks great and is available in a nice red color as well as black, gold, green, and gray. What makes this one unique is that the panel that holds the cards feels like it’s made from leather. The case itself feels like rubber and fits the iPhone well. All cutouts are exactly where they need to be and it functions well as a case.

The only thing is I find this case to be quite boring. It’s a case. It works well. What more do you want? I don’t get excited about having a card slot, you might, but I don’t. I need too many cards on a daily basis to actually need to use this slot. If you run and need an ID and maybe a key card to get in the office, I see how this might be a useful case but other than that…well…ho hum.

Conclusion

CM4 has a nice case, I just don’t think its that new of an idea or that interesting. There are many other cases that even look better than this case and protect it just as well. If you need a case and you want one with a card slot, well this one should work for you. It’s not a problem with the case, it’s a problem with me. My case needs are basic. All I want a case to do is protect it. I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy this one. If you want one, then head over to CM4 and pick one up for $39.99 plus shipping.

What I like: It’s red.

What I didn’t care for: The card slot. I’d never use it.

MSRP: $39.99
