Arriving just in time for everyone’s favorite new sci-fi flick, Rokform announces its new Predator Series phone accessories with the launch of the Predator iPhone 6/6 Plus Case and Predator iPhone Docking Station. These unique items feature X-pattern styling of 6061-T6 aluminum for what may be the coolest new phone case this holiday (and movie release) season.

Rokform sent along one of each unit for me to paw over. I would describe the phone case as minimalist as it features a claw-like finger reaching to each corner of your phone. It is a two-piece device that attaches with two screws at the back. Being a Rokform case it also utilizes the manufacturers unique magnet mounting system that uses a safe but removable magnet in each case. A rubber pad at the rear of the case keeps the aluminum from scratching any sensitive surfaces the device may get attached to. The corners of the case offer great protection from drops while barely wrapping around the phone. The corners also give face protection, while still allowing for the use of ballistic-type screen protectors.

Thanks to the four support ribs only going to the corners of the phone you can easily access all of the other features and outlets on your phone. The perfect companion to the Predator case, of course, is the Predator Docking Station. It features similar styling and comes with a 1-meter charge/sync cable with lightning connector for tethering to a computer or wall outlet adaptor. The docking station will work with other phone cases and features an adjustable backrest. And the feet of the docking station use some new suction technology to help keep the station, um, stationary, while docking and undocking your phone.
Rokform sells the two new Predator units as separate items. The case is priced at $109 for iPhone 6/6s and $119 for 6/6s Plus. The docking station comes in at $99. Each is available in matte natural, matte black, and matte gunmetal finish.
