Acer is busy at CES this year! They’ve always been a big player in laptops, smartphones, tablets, and computer equipment in general, and they have updates for just about everything this year! There’s a lot to be excited about, whether you’re looking for a high-end Windows machine or a simple Android tablet, so let’s check it all out!

Acer Chromebook 11

On the Google-based side of things, Acer has two ChromeOS devices and an Android tablet on deck. The Acer Chromebase 24 is an all-in-one desktop rocking a 23.8in screen with a 1920×1080 resolution, up to 8GB of RAM, and an Intel Core processor, meaning everything will look great and move quickly whether you are writing or watching Netflix. Acer also says they’ve thrown in a number of video conferencing enhancements for the Chromebase, including four digital microphones! No word on price yet, but they’ve certainly packed a lot of power under the hood.

If portable is more your style, there’s an updated Acer Chromebook 11; this revision makes it tougher and more durable than ever before, so it’s perfect for schools and travelers looking for a tough notebook on the go. Best of all, it’s clocking in at a very wallet and budget-friendly $179.99.

Meanwhile, on the Android side, Acer has the new Iconia One 8, an 8-inch tablet running Android 5.1. At only $99.99, and with lots of parental controls and kid-friendly apps, Acer is clearly aiming to make the Iconia One 8 a family-friendly tablet.

Acer hasn’t forgotten about Windows though. First, there’s the Aspire Switch 12 S 2-in-1; in addition to offering an aluminum chassis and full HD options, it uses an Intel Core M processor and has USB-C connectors. A premium tablet+laptop comes with a more premium price, and this one starts at $999.99.

Road warriors who are tough on their laptops should be pleased with the new Acer TravelMate P648; it offers a spill-resistant keyboard and durable build but isn’t overly bulky. Best of all, it offers tri-band 802.11ad wireless, so connectivity on the road should be nice and speedy! This will set you back a bit at $1,099, but that’s a good price for a tough and portable laptop!

Are you a fan of Windows Phone looking forlornly at high-end Android devices? Acer feels your pain, and they are releasing the Acer Liquid Jade Primo, a flagship phone with Windows 10. That means it can use Continuum, allowing you to dock your phone and turn it into a full-fledged computer with the right accessories. No word on pricing or network compatibility, but it’s good to see a powerful Windows 10 phone be released!

Finally, if you’re wondering about monitors for all these great USB-C devices coming out, Acer has you covered there too. The Acer H7 Series monitors use USB C with a WQHD (2560×1440) resolution, in your choice of 25in and 27in sizes. In addition to USB-C, the monitors will also be able to connect to USB 3.0, HDMI, DVI, VGA, and the usual alphabet soup of connectors.
