We all have a bottle opener or two in our kitchen drawers, but most of them are pretty straightforward: bottle opener on one end, can opener on the other. The Barbarian Bar Tools’ Simple Tool can open bottles and cans, but it also has a few other tricks up its sleeve.
Composed of solid stainless steel, the Simple Tool measures 7″ long by 2″ wide. It’s got a nice heft to it, and it looks interesting with all of its notches, holes, and bends.

So what makes the Simple Tool more than a simple tool? It is five kitchen implements built into one.
There’s a can lance at the top, a citrus zester on the end, and a built-in channel knife (like a single-hole cheese grater) so you can make those fancy citrus curlicues for your favorite drinks.
Of course, there’s also a bottle opener in the middle, and the slightly bent bottom edge makes a pop-tab opener — great for those who don’t want to break a nail. A hole on the bottom is perfect for hanging the Simple Tool up when it’s not in use or attaching to a tether so it doesn’t walk off.
Yep, it’s a simple tool. But it is surprisingly complex and multi-functional. The Simple Tool seems like it would make a great housewarming gift, Father’s Day gift, Graduation gift, stocking stuffer … you get the idea.
