The MateBook will start at $699, and looks to build on Huawei’s already budding success in other fields. The portable, stylish MateBook solves a lot of first World problems, majority being the need for a convertible device that is not only portable like a tablet, but will give you the production you need from laptop. Featuring Windows 10, the MateBook also features a 6th generation Intel Core m-series processor coupled by a finless design, perfect for rigorous demands such as word processing, to the casual web surfing. Offering up to 8GB of LPDDR3 memory with a solid-state hard drive with a capacity up to 512GB, MateBook can handle all of your files.

Designed with mobility in mind, the MateBook sports a high-quality aluminum unibody that is built to withstand the on-the-go lifestyle of the consumer. Weighing just 640 grams, it’s easy to toss in a bag and just go. It comes with it’s patented MateBook keyboard case, which is made of PU leather, that is just as durable as the MateBook itself. Add in the 1.5mm keystroke keycap design and built-in touchpad, and your finger movements will be precise every time.

With the MateBook’s 12-inch IPS multi-touch screen, enhanced by an ultra-narrow frame, the device features a 2160×1440 display with a 160-degree wide-angle for an immersive experience. Once better, the huge screen is powered by a high-density Lithium battery that will give you nine hours of solid battery life, on top of Huawei’s power-saving technology you can attain a full charge in just two and a half hours, or just 60% in an hour if in a pinch.
