VHbox Vh Qi Wireless Charging Pad Review: Perfect Accessory for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

If you’ve got a wireless charge capable phone, such as the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and you’re not using a wireless charger, you’re missing out on a level of convenience that iPhone users can only dream about. Using the VHbox Vh Qi Wireless Charging Pad means no fumbling with cables — you just lay your phone down and charge it.

Available in brown, dark gray, light gray, or the blue I was sent, the Vh Qi Wireless Charging Pad is a minimalistic and thin (5.5mm) circle that features an aluminum base with leather wrapped top; it has a 47″ long flat cable.

Unfortunately and probably due to its thinness, this is not a fast charger; output is 1A, which is the standard for most regular smartphone chargers. Even so, the Vh Qi works well and looks pretty enough to display anywhere.

It turns out that there is a $10 add-on that can make your iPhone (Lightning port connector only) or microUSB non-Qi-enabled phone wireless charging capable! I may have to order one of VHbox’s wireless charging receivers just to see how it works with the Vh Qi Wireless Charging Pad because wireless charging is a feature I really like on my S7 Edge, and I love the idea of being able to just lay any phone down on the same pad to have it charge.

The VHbox Vh Qi Wireless Charging Pad is incredibly thin and it looks great; while I would prefer that it be Fast Charge enabled, it still gets the job done.

The VHbox Vh Qi Wireless Charging Pad retails for $59.99, and it is available directly from the manufacturer. Use the codes PRELAUNCH and FREESHIPPING to get 50% off your order with free shipping.

What I Like: Slim, minimalistic leather-wrapped circular design; Works well; Add-on wireless charging receiver option is available for iPhone and other non-Qi-enabled smartphones

What Needs Improvement: Not Fast Charge enabled
