Huawei MateBook Is Available Today, Do You Want One?

The Huawei MateBook has an all-metal design; it reminds me of a slightly smaller and more powerful iPad Pro, actually.

The MateBook has a 12″ IPS Liquid Crystal Display with 2160×1440 resolution. It is 6.9 mm thick and weighs 1.4 pounds, so it’s really easy to slip into any backpack. Its 33.7Wh high-density lithium battery is supposed to deliver up to “9 hours of work, nine hours of video playback or 29 hours of music.” Brest of all, its quick-charge battery can reach 60% capacity in one hour, and a full charge in just 2.5 hours.

The accessories include the MateDock (which attaches all of the ports that you might need to the tablet’s USB Type-C port), a backlit keyboard cover case, and the MatePen which has 2,048 levels of sensitivity and a built-in laser pointer.

You can find the MateBook, starting at $699.99; it is available in Microsoft stores and online at Microsoft, Amazon [affiliate link], and Newegg. Dan will have our review up soon.
