I’m enjoying being part of the @Starbucks Blogger Team. Each quarter I get a box chock full of Starbucks goodies. That lets me try some of the latest and greatest from the coffee heavyweight. The summer package came a few weeks ago and was full of tasty Starbucks beverages that can be found in your grocery aisles. Here’s a look!
Inside the box were an assortment of Starbucks’ latest items that can be found in most grocery stores. In addition to another Starbucks Cold Tumbler (I love Starbucks cups and mugs and am slowly gathering a nice collection) and a beach towel there were five different drinks.
The Starbucks Refreshers Revitalizing Energy Drinks with Coconut Water came in two flavors: Black Cherry Limeade and PeachPassion Fruit. Both were delicious and only 80 calories.
The Starbucks Doubleshot Energy Drink came in Spiced Vanilla and Mexican Mocha. Coffee, Guarana, B Vitamins, and Ginseng… What could be bad?
Finally, the Starbucks Bottled White Chocolate Mocha Frappucino Drink rounded out the collection in a super-delicious way.
Best of all, each is available in your grocery store so you can stock up and have some #Starbucks goodness waiting for you whenever you want.
In the past I’ve run down each Starbucks product individually. This time out I decided to do something a bit different. Raina and I set up my iPhone and did a taste test on camera. Here’s a look:
Now here’s the thing. We shot this video and were pleased to find that every one of the drinks was delicious. Yes, the Frappucino is rather high in calories, but the other drinks are 200 calories or less and the Doubleshot Energy Drinks have 10 grams of protein. So two days after shooting the video I had to go to Washington D.C. for some meetings. The first morning I was there I was late for a session but needed my coffee fix AND something for breakfast. As luck would have it the small store there had a Starbucks Doubleshot Energy Drink. I grabbed one and was good until lunch. Yeah, I’m a fan!
