Active Edge Leather Mariner Clasp Bracelet Looks Great, but That’s Just the Beginning

Some time ago I wrote about my surprising experience with Active Edge products. I came into the review rather skeptical but, by the end, was enough of a believer that I went and purchased a few more products. Now the company has taken a huge step forward and created something that looks more refined but offers the same promised benefits.

The Active Edge Leather Mariner Clasp Bracelet goes where none of the company’s bracelets or necklaces have gone before and, by so doing, solves my biggest complaint with their products. Let me explain.

Before I do, however, let me recap my previous experience. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. For the most part, it is under control, but I do rely on daily medications, take a weekly agenda, and, for the rest of my life, will live with a fused right wrist.

The wrist was the result of damage I did in a fall which, once weakened, arthritis attacked, leaving no cartilage. I was left with one of two options — deal with constant pain or have the wrist fused and never be able to move it again. I opted for the latter approach. It was a brutal surgery and recovery, but, for the most part, that hand offers the least pain now.

I share the gory details (be glad I didn’t share the pictures of the surgery’s aftermath) for one simple reason — Active Edge promises to address and fight inflammation. Since RA is an inflammatory disease, it only made sense that I give them a try. That was reinforced when I saw this picture on their website.

If their product could calm down even a bit of the inflammatory process with which I deal, it would be worth it. As the company explains on its website:

Active Edge products are embedded with our proprietary electromagnetic frequency technology specifically geared to fight inflammation.  Medical experts believe that when our product comes into contact with the human body it stimulates the sympathetic nervous system. This immediately increases blood flow and reduces inflammation in the joints, while increasing oxygen intake.

Who can these products benefit?  Anyone who is interested in reducing inflammation throughout the body;  People with backaches, joint pain, arthritis and any other ailments where inflammation is the root of the problem.   Many customers, including those with arthritis, Parkinson’s, Fibromyalgia, and other diseases report lessened symptoms and an increase in quality of life.

It sounded great… Almost too much to believe, and I was understandably skeptical. After all, how could wearing a t-shirt, bracelet, or necklace have any effect systemically? And yet… The first night I slept in the shirt that was sent for review, I slept better than I can remember and had far less morning tightness than usual. My mind opened a bit.

After a few nights with the same result, I was close to convinced. So I tried sleeping in a normal t-shirt and found that I slept worse and awoke in more pain and with less flexibility than I had for the week while wearing the t-shirt. “Maybe… Just maybe there might be something to this.“ I thought.

As the company claims:

Active Edge products can help give the body an edge while exercising or playing sports. They are embedded with our recipe of frequencies geared to specifically help increase performance, among other benefits.  Our clinical trials show when Active Edge is worn, 90% of people see the following average improvements:

17% increase in flexibility

8% increase in grip strength

Increased balance

Increased endurance

The long and short of it is that, despite the fact that Active Edge products are pricey, I went and bought a bracelet and necklace that have the same technology as the shirt. I’ve been wearing one or the other ever since.

And that is where the problem came in. You see, the bracelet I purchased is a black paracord bracelet. That’s all good and well when I am wearing a t-shirt and jeans, but, as a congregational rabbi, I am in a suit much of the time.

It really isn’t a look that works together, but I decided to opt for being more comfortable in my own skin over my being fashionably consistent.

Then Active Edge announced the new Active Edge Leather Mariner Clasp Bracelet. At $175, it’s extremely pricey, but it looks great while still offering the same benefits I had been enjoying. I was sent one for review and am quite pleased.

The Leather Mariner Clasp Bracelet is embedded with the same Active Edge proprietary technology as the other products I wear. That means it can help fight inflammation and pain, improve sleep & help the body perform at a more optimal level. (These are the company’s words, not my own. I am a fan of their products, but I make no medical claim or promise that you will see the same results.)

What makes the Leather Mariner Clasp Bracelet different is that it is made from leather rather than paracord and is far thinner and refined in appearance. That alone is a huge difference. Then there is the clasp. It has a most unusual look and design. It is so unusual that I don’t really know how to describe it. I’ll use pictures instead.

Turns out Active Edge partnered “with one of America’s top jewelry designers to create this beautiful upscale piece. It is extremely high quality and rivals other jewelry from designers such as David Yurman.” The result is an Active Edge bracelet that looks, in my opinion, great.

It is made from beautiful leather, is thin enough that it looks great, and it has a clasp that is as interesting visually as it is functional. Other features include:

  • Wear it on its own or stack it with other bracelets.
  • Great look for both Men and Women.
  • The body of the bracelet is made from genuine leather.
  • The unique clasp is marine grade 316 brushed stainless steel and will never rust, fade or break. This bracelet should last you a lifetime.
  • Each bracelet is custom-made in America!

Overall I’m rather thrilled with Active Edge’s newest offering. I won’t make promises that it will make a difference for you, but, as I noted, I’m convinced enough that I wear one every day. It is worth noting that:

Active Edge products have not been tested on children, pregnant women, or persons with electronic devices such as, but not limited to pacemakers or defibrillators. Therefore, we do not recommend persons in these categories wear our products.

So how might you tell if Active Edge products will benefit you? Simple… Order one. Since the company offers a money-back guarantee, you can check it out for yourself. And, if you do find it benefits you, make sure you add the Leather Mariner Clasp Bracelet to your holiday gift wish list!
