The highlight of NETGEAR’S announcements had to be the Arlo Baby. A Full HD monitoring camera, the Arlo baby Camera is a CES 2017 Innovation Awards Honoree for its unique and innovative product design. Pre-loaded with smart baby monitoring features, NETGEAR added a nursery-friendly design to make the Arlo baby look more presentable. With smart analytics, the Arlo Baby goes above and beyond standard baby monitors with features fit for a new child’s room such as a music player, ambient sensors for air quality monitoring, and even a built-in night light. Watch over your baby 24/7 as NETGEAR gives you seven days of free cloud recordings with the option to purchase a subscription for more so you can always see your baby in crystal-clear 1080p HD video. With a rechargeable battery, the camera can go untethered, so it doesn’t have to be connected to a wall. There’s even two-way audio so even if you’re miles away and you can still keep the connection with a sitter or family member thanks to the Arlo Baby having two-way audio.

“When we looked at other baby monitoring solutions, it became clear to us that we had an opportunity to develop a product that would significantly improve the experience of baby monitoring for today’s busy Moms and Dads,” said Pat Collins, senior vice president of Arlo products at NETGEAR. “With exceptional 1080p video both day and night, crystal clear audio and smart analytics that provide instant alerts when the baby is crying or when their environment has changed, Arlo Baby is a giant leap forward in baby monitoring technology. And with our easy-to-use mobile app, parents will feel connected to their baby whether they are across the globe or in the next room”.
