Master and Dynamic is well known for their awesome headphones and Earphones that give users the ability to listen to their audio wherever they are, but what about if you want others to hear your tunes?

The New York based audio company plans on redefining their brand by the announcement of their partnership with recently knighted Sir David Adjave, which results in their first ever wireless speaker, the MA770 Wireless speaker.

Known globally for his architecture behind the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC, Sir David Adjave played a major role in the design of the MA770, creating it from a concrete composite (the first of its kind) resulting in a unique tactile design that gives the listener an acoustic experience that goes unmatched all while eliminating audio dampening courtesy of its single mold enclosure. This speaker is said to sound several times better than others on the market made of wood or plastic.

“This speaker is not about the traditional idea of making boxes but about a directional form. I became fascinated with the idea of using triangles to break down the mass of the box and to see if we could dissolve the sense of volume through sculptural detail,” said Adjaye. We created a new geometry for this speaker. A new geometry for sound”

Weighing in at 35 pounds, the MA770 speaker by Master & Dynamic is powered by 100 watts of Class D Amplification, but also feature dual 4″ woven Kevlar woofers, a titanium tweeter and diamond cut titanium controls, resulting in a speaker that is not only functional, but looks great on a shelf or desk.

Master and Dynamic has included the ability to pair the MA770 with another speaker through WiFi if you don’t want to use it by itself, and comes with Google Chromecast built-in which is a pretty big deal thanks to all of the third party elements Chromecast brings to the table. It’s also the first speaker to ever do so.

“As the industry ebbs towards smaller and more disposable pieces, we continue to defy convention,” said Master & Dynamic Foundernand CEO Jonathan Levine. “The MA770 Reinforced scale and prominence. It’s luxurious design and use of premium materials further enhances it’s beauty”

The MA770 Wireless speaker is currently on pre-order for $1800 directly from MasterDynamic.com.
