Earlier this week Logitech unveiled a product that I’ve personally had my eye on for a while, and honestly cannot wait to get my hands on — the Circle 2, Logitech’s indoor/outdoor home security camera.
Back in 2016, I reviewed the Logi Cam by Logitech, which is the predecessor to the Circle 2, which I still use to this very day. The Circle 2 looks to improve on an already awesome camera, by allowing it to be placed anywhere you want. How, you ask? With the previous model being restricted to a slightly low battery life when not connected to an outlet, the Circle 2 comes in both wired and wireless versions that allow the user to place the camera wherever they see fit and using the Logi Circle app, no matter where you are, you can know what goes on in your home, and its surroundings.
Also with the Circle 2, you’re getting some significant upgrades including a more versatile design, various mounts and accessories, and a weatherproof solution that allows it to sit outside of your home, perfect for seeing when that package arrived in the mail. Logitech even unveiled a web app that allows you to monitor your pet and home from your desktop at work, which always comes in handy. Some of the accessories that are featured with the Circle 2 home security camera are:
Circle 2 Window Mount – See more of what’s happening outside, from the inside. Simply attach the Window Mount to the camera and place it on any window pane to see outdoors.
- Circle 2 Plug Mount – The Plug Mount lets you watch over the home from any wall outlet – in the kitchen, garage, or even down low to see your pet.
- Circle 2 Weatherproof Extension – The Weatherproof Extension lets your Circle 2 Wired Camera reach even further, both indoors and outdoors. Its Weatherproof Case ensures your cables are safe from outside weather conditions.
- Circle 2 Rechargeable Battery – A backup Rechargeable Battery (lasts up to 3 months) so you can quickly swap out the Circle 2 Wire-Free Camera battery while the other is charging.

Complete with 24 hours of free bank-level encrypted cloud storage, Logitech offers up other storage plans that allow you to track up to 31 days of home monitoring with either the Circle Safe Basic and Circle Safe Premium packages.
Available for preorder now at Logitech.com, with the product shipping in July, the Circle 2 Wired will cost $179.99, with the Circle 2 Wire-free costing $199.99. the accessories will range between $29.99 to $49.99.
