If you always consider camera quality when making your next smartphone purchase, you’ll want to keep an eye out for LG’s newest flagship, the LG V30. LG phones have great cameras, but their V30 is going to take mobile photography to a whole new level.

The LG V30 will “incorporate an F1.6 aperture camera and an actual glass lens element in the dual camera of its upcoming V30 flagship smartphone.” This will mark the largest aperture and clearest lens ever in an LG phone.

LG’s first F1.6 lens delivers 25 percent more light to the sensor compared to an F1.8 lens. The glass Crystal Clear Lens also offers greater light-collecting ability than a plastic lens as well as better color reproduction.

While the LG V20 already had an excellent camera, the V30 will go even further toward making it the only camera you need when sightseeing; the V30 will minimize “edge distortion compared to the V20 when capturing wide-angle shots, making it ideal for group selfies, spacious interiors, and expansive landscapes.”

Paired with LG’s specialized UX featuring laser detection AF, optical image stabilization, and electronic image stabilization, shutterbugs will find the V30 as easy and convenient to use as its predecessor.

If you’re worried that the upgraded camera will add unnecessary bulk to the new LG V30, you needn’t. The V30 will actually be 30% compared to the V20! We’ll have more coverage (including first impressions and photos) on the LG V30 once I get to IFA.
