Shark concentrates on home cleaning appliances like vacuums while Ninja concentrates on kitchen appliances. Both brands are ramping up the technology in the home appliance marketplace.

SharkNinja was nice enough to send me the Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchen System with Auto-Spiralizer as well as the Shark ION ROBOT 750 for testing and review. I’ll go into detail for both, but overall, I’ve been seriously impressed by the innovative features and high quality of both of the SharkNinja products.
Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchen System with Auto-Spiralizer
This fancily named blender/food processor system is a jack-of-all-trades in your kitchen. The system is composed of a 1200W base that accepts four different attachments: a 72-ounce total crushing pitcher, an 8-cup precision food processor, a 24-ounce single-serve cup with Pro Extractor Blades, and an auto spiralizer. This means that the Intelli-Sense Kitchen System may be able to replace up to three of your current kitchen appliances.
The base has Smart Vessel Recognition so it will recognize the attachment you’ve connected and will display the smart programs specially designed for each attachment on the base unit’s innovative touchscreen. That brings me to the touchscreen, it’s a very slick-looking screen that displays the 12 smart programs and 3 manual settings used to control the Kitchen System. It’s incredibly easy to use and easy to clean.
What I love is the flexibility of the Intelli-Sense Kitchen System. If you’re making smoothies for a bunch of people, you can use the large total crushing pitcher. If you’re making a smoothie for yourself, you can use the single-serve cup. If you’re making hummus, you can use the food processor. It can really do almost anything you need it to. It’s got the power to crush up a ton of frozen fruit and ice and the multiple blades make sure everything in the vessel gets chopped up.

We’ve made a bunch of smoothies as well as hummus in the Ninja Intelli-Sense Kitchen System, and we’ve been impressed with its versatility as well as its ease of cleaning. Just watch out while cleaning, because those blades are SHARP! My wife, my mother in law, and I all cut our fingers while cleaning the blades for the first time. We’ve since learned our lesson! Our only real complaint is that the single-serve cup with pro extractor blades does not blend as well as the total crushing pitcher with the chopping blade, but that’s tough to achieve.
