Samsung’s Latest NW700 Sound+ Soundbar is Impossibly Slim

Ahead of CES, Samsung has announced their latest soundbar, the NW700 Sound+. The NW700 Sound+ is a premium sound bar that is wall mountable. But what really makes it unique is that it’s crazy thin and designed to match Samsung’s super-thin tellies.

More specifically, the NW700 Sound+ measures 53.5mm in width, and it’s designed to be wall mountable without a gap. The NW700 Sound+ is actually 41% narrower than the previous model. In addition, it also packs in a built-in subwoofer for extra oomph without having to house an external ugly block somewhere.

The NW700+ supports three sound modes including Standard Mode, Surround Mode, and Smart Mode. Surround Mode is used to expand surround sound performance, while Smart Mode automatically adjusts volume and surround sound effects. The soundbar also features distortion-canceling, wide-range tweeters, and multi-speaker control.

There’s no word on pricing for the NW700 Sound+ yet, but we expect the pricing to match its premium look and features. The NW700+ will be shown off next month at CES at Samsung’s booth.
