Misfit is popular for their simple yet fashionable smartwatches, and a lot is to be said about their latest release, the Misfit Path.

The smallest Misfit Smartwatch to date, the Misfit Path is one of those timepieces that you’ll get compliments on from onlookers and even more surprise from the same people when you tell them about how smart the watch actually is.

Featuring a stainless steel casing with a matte finish, the Misfit Path doesn’t have fancy colorful menus and complications, instead opting for a traditional watch face that is modern all while being traditional. Available with a gold tone, Misfit also has silicone sport straps that are great for the Path’s interchangeable strap functionality.

On the inside of the Misfit Path, the Smartwatch automatically tracks steps, calories burned, distances traveled, and sleep duration though it’s 3-axis accelerometer. What’s more, you can create and receive customized calls and texts, emails as well as app notifications so even when your phone is across the room, you’ll know who’s been trying to get in touch with you. The Path’s big feature that I enjoy is the smart button that acts like a remote allowing you to play music, take photos and even ring your phone if you can’t find it wedged in between your couch.

As with many other Misfit smartwatches, the Path is also swim-proof and water-resistant (up to 50 meters), with a battery that lasts up to six months before needing replacement.

“At Misfit, we pride ourselves on taking risks, being innovative, and creating products that effortlessly enhance our customer’s everyday life – and we really value their feedback. Customers around the globe are responding positively to our hybrid smartwatches and are asking for more styles, additional colorways, and smaller case sizes,”’ said Preston Moxcey, General Manager of Misfit. ‘’Path provides Misfit users just that; a significantly sleeker, smaller, more traditional-looking watch with smart capabilities that doesn’t require charging–the best of both worlds. Path only continues to prove that traditional watchmaking and contemporary technology can seamlessly coexist and elevate one another.

Available in Stainless Steel, Rose Tone, Gold Tone and Stainless Steel with Gold Tone Accent, the Misfit Path will start at $149.99 when it goes on sale in the Spring. Visit Misfit.com for more information.
