I’ve reviewed a wide range go neckband-style headphones but none quite like the Plantronics Voyager 6200 UC. Designed for business, the Voyager 6200 UC is a Bluetooth headset with premium features that make it as ideal for work as it is for play. Great sound and impressive battery life are just the beginning with these pricey but impressive headphones.

The headset comes with a protective hard case. It keeps the Voyager 6200 UC safe, makes it easy to throw into a backpack or bag, and it holds an assortment of accessories such as a charging stand and cable, a USB adapter (so you can use the headset with your computer, and a variety of different sized ear gels.

The included charging disk is a great way to quickly and easily charge the headset at your desk.

You can plug into any USB plug.

If you are using the headset at your desk, plug it into the computer. Of course, that presumes your computer still has a USB-A port. My MacBook Pro doesn’t.

The headset itself is a serious affair. The rigid neckband is thin but gets thicker at the ends.

The left end has an ANC on/off toggle …

… and a button so you can quickly mute and unmute the microphone.

The right end has an on/off/pairing toggle …

… and volume up and down buttons.

On the inside of the part of the neckband is a multipurpose button. If you press this button once, you activate the play/pause functionality. Two presses of the button skips the track forward while three presses skips the track back. When you press and hold the button, you activate the voice control such as Siri.

This end also has the micro USB charging port and a connector that lets you charge the 6200 UC when it is placed on the including charging disk.

It takes just an hour and a half to fully charge the headset. When it is fully charged you will get up to 9 hours of talk time.

The earbuds connect to the neckband at the juncture of the thin and thick parts of the neckband. Locating the junction at the point along the neckband helps keep the earbuds within reach when not actually placed inside your ears.

With premium features and professional-grade audio, Voyager 6200 UC is a Bluetooth neckband headset with earbuds that has the versatility to go beyond the office. Transitioning to your next conversation is easy: Connect with colleagues working remotely, listen to music to focus distraction-free or drop an earbud to tune in to the conversation around you. You can count on Voyager 6200 UC for outstanding audio every time, everywhere.
