TVape offered us the opportunity to review the Utillian 721 vape and the Zeus Iceborn accessory that helps you chill out (literally) even more during a vaping session. The Utillian 721 has an MSRP of $174.99 while the Iceborn accessory is $69.99. That may sound pricey but, together, they are an absolute pleasure to use.

The vape came nicely packaged and, when we opened it, we were immediately impressed!
The Utillian 710 is has a sleek design that looks and feels great but won’t call too much attention to itself. Made from an anodized aluminum shell with a rubberized finish, it is tough enough to put up with serious use and abuse while still feeling good in the hand. The stainless steel heating chamber heats uniformly and gets up to vaping speed in nothing flat.
One of the things that have been a huge differentiator as we have reviewed more and more vapes is the simplicity of the design. Vaping should be a relaxing activity. If the device you are employing is too complex, that complexity often gets in the way of the main reason you reached for it in the first place. Thanks to its “One Button Design,” the Utillian 710 is simple to use. That’s intentional.
Designed with simplicity in mind, the one button design guarantees a user-friendly experience each and every time. The single button operation makes it simple to use but that doesn’t come at the expense of control. In fact, while the 721 comes with 4 base temperature settings; 170C, 180C, 190C, 210C, it’s “Enhanced Mode” boosts each preset temperature by 5 degrees. That means you actually get 8 different temperature settings for “maximum versatility.”
Simplicity alone does not, however, make for a great portable vape. The key to the 721 taking its place as a standout portable vape is that, while it IS portable, it offers the functionality of a desktop unit. That’s thanks to the fact that it uses convection heating and heats in a manner the provides smooth, flavorful vapor. Convection heating is a feature usually found in pricier desktop models but its central to the design of the Utillian 710.

The battery life of the 721 also makes it stand out. The 721 gets up to 60 minutes per charge. That’s double the 30 minutes most portable vapes offer and means you can charge the 710 and then head out for the day without the need to look for an outlet and recharge it.
Thanks to the magnetic cap mouthpiece, loading the 721 couldn’t be easier.
When you are ready to load the vape, you simply pull the mouthpiece off the device, expose the chamber, fill it with herbs and then place it back into position. The strong magnets line the vape and the cap up and, when brought close enough to one another, snap back into place.
In the box you get the Utillian 721 vape, tweezers, a brush, a USB charging cable, an O-Ring screen set and, if you so choose, a canister for using wax with the 721.

Our herb of choice at the moment is eucalyptus, but you can also use chamomile, damiana, passion flower, green tea, peppermint, raspberry leaf, lavender, lemon balm, St. John’s wort, and more. Of course, if you prefer, you can also use tobacco (or other loose-leaf herbal products) products. The choice of what you use is extensive and, of course, there is also the option to use wax for those so inclined.
In summary: the Utillian 721 vaporizer is a palm-sized unit with a smooth feel and ridged sides to enable a firm grip. The top cover is magnetized for easy removal and replacement, and underneath is the heating chamber for whatever herbs you plan to enjoy. (Of course, you can also use the included canister for wax if that is your preference.) The funnel shape of the heating chamber ensures tidy loading, and the screen can be popped out for easy cleaning. Attached to the cover is a removable, swiveling mouthpiece which is super convenient for when you are on the go and want a quick, convenient way to vape.
Once the chamber is packed, using the 721 couldn’t be easier. Five quick presses of the button on the side turn the unit on and starts the heating process. It takes just a minute. A red light blinks to let you know it’s heating up and, when a solid red light appears, you’re ready to inhale. The vapor is slightly warm and very comfortable. (More on this in a moment.) Once you are done you can manually turn the unit off by pressing the button an additional five times or, if you simply stop vaping, it will automatically shut down on its own.
