As is always the case with Waterfield products, the Tech Folio is crafted locally in the company workshop in San Francisco. It comes in either 1050 Denier Ballistic Nylon or Waxed Canvas and measures 10.5″ x 8″ x 2″; 0.95 lb. That makes it small enough to carry everywhere and large enough to carry an assortment of items. As the company notes, it can be used for an assortment of cables and cords, power bricks, dongles and adapters, a mouse, an external hard drive, extra batteries, a phone and tablet and personal items such as a wallet, mints, office keycards, etc.

As Waterfield explains, the Tech Folio:

…is the professional’s everyday carry for storing adapters, dongles, cords and cables, power chargers, SD cards, an external drive, earbuds, phone, tablet, and more. Designed specifically for those who take their gadgets everywhere they go, the unique pocket-storage system makes it quick and easy to store uncoiled cords and is flexible enough to protect bulky and slim devices. It’s also great for carrying personal items.

A front zippered pocket opens to reveal pockets for pens and an Apple Pencil, a phone and some cables you will frequently need. As we have seen with other Waterfield products, a bright liner helps you see what is being stored in the Tech Folio.

There are also open pockets for a mouse and an external hard drive. There is also a large open pocket that is perfectly sized for a tablet.

The Tech Folio is not overly complex but has enough storage and assorted pockets for the items you’ll want to carry during the work day or on a quick trip.
