This week at CES, Ooma announced their Ooma Telo 4G, and Ooma Home Security system, both set to make sure your home always connected and reliable, even during a power outage.

Both the Ooma Telo 4G and the Ooma Smart Security system are set to make your home phone even more advanced, thanks to a partnership with Sprint’s Nationwide 4G Network. With the Ooma Telo 4G, you can enjoy Ooma’s existing smart home phone service, which is significantly less expensive than using a traditional phone line.

What really sets the Ooma Telo 4G apart is that it can work in areas where internet is unavailable, or pricey, all while being able to be taken to a new home or that beach home over the summer without having to search for home Wi-Fi or Ethernet. It also includes Ooma’s PureVoice HD which gives clear connections for all calls, including to 911 operators. There’s an optional Ooma Premier service that offers Robocall blocking, voicemail to email, and a second phone number which works on your cell phone if you’re into that type of thing. The Ooma Telo 4G will cost $149.99 when it is released later this quarter.

As with the Ooma Smart Security, yogurt 4G Cellular and battery Backup, which allows your Ooma to run during internet and power outages, that comes complete with a high-speed 4G internet connection for real-time alerts, ideal for emergency events thanks to its “always on” connectivity. The Ooma Connect 4G adapter will cost $79.99, with the plan only costing $4.99 a month for unlimited 4G, with the additional smart security and lithium-ion power bank is a separate cost of $34.99 with a release date of February.
