We’ve all seen the rumors, and now the OnePlus 7 Pro is a fact! OnePlus has just a released their flagship phone, boasting a gorgeous 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It also comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and up to 12 GB of RAM. Perhaps most exciting? No notch and no screen cutouts!*

The OnePlus 7 Pro uses a pop-up f/2.0 16 MP front facing camera module so that when you aren’t taking photos, you won’t have to look at a camera lens marring your screen.

The pop-up camera’s elevator mechanism has been tested over 300,000 times. This means even if you were to use the camera 150 times a day, you’d still be able to use it for over five years. To better protect the camera, the OnePlus 7 Pro will automatically retract the camera module in a fraction of a second when it is in freefall, detected using its accelerometer and gyroscope.

The OnePlus 7 Pro also comes with Warp Charge 30, which was first seen on the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition. With Warp Charge 30 can charge a dead OnePlus 7 Pro to up to almost half of its massive 4,000 mAh battery in just 20 minutes.

Gamers will love the OnePlus 7 Pro’s multiple levels of haptic feedback and “virtually zero delay for a more tactile experience.” There is also an upgraded liquid cooling system on the phone to help keep it cool even in your most intensive gaming.

There are three cameras on the rear, including a 48-megapixel sensor (with OIS), an 8-megapixel 78mm telephoto lens (f/2.4 and 1?m pixel size and stabilized by OIS), and a 16-megapixel 117° ultra-wide angle lens (f/2.2).

A new three-pronged autofocus system intelligently uses PDAF, CAF and Laser Focusing methods to produce crisp images in daylight and in low light.

So there you have it — a larger sized phone that is fast, excellent for gaming, has plenty of camera capability, and no notch to mar its brilliant screen. Well done, OnePlus!

The OnePlus 7 Pro will be available on May 17th in Nebula Blue and Mirror Gray at OnePlus site, starting at $669. You can also find it at T-Mobile with 8GB RAM/256GB in Mirror Gray and Nebula Blue starting at $699.

*I know I used of exclamation points in this writeup, but I think the phone looks amazing!
