The other day, I read a report that suggested reforestation on a grand scale could be the best way to address climate disruption. At the time, I thought it would be great if billionaires and companies could get behind this. Nomad has done just that,and both consumers and the planet will benefit.
The promotion is simple. Each customer who makes a donation to Carbon Fund will get one of Nomad’s awesome USB to Lightning cables. It’s simple. It’s straightforward. And it is worth taking part. Here are the details.
The Cable:

Perhaps most worthy of note, Nomad will donate 100% of the proceeds from this campaign and will make zero dollars in the process. That’s zero as in zilch, nada, klum going to Nomad but with countless trees being planted. That’s a win-win for the planet and for us.

Why does all this matter? Why should planting trees be a top priority for us all? It’s quite simple. Trees absorb carbon dioxide which helps counter climate disruption. They improve air quality, preserve biodiversity, control flooding by limiting runoff and topsoil loss, and provide protection and food for animals. In the process, additional trees translate into additional jobs in tree nurseries and forest management.
Every dollar donated through this campaign will plant a tree in Acre, a region of Brazil. This particular region is currently in the throws of major deforestation and planting trees will help counter what is already occurring as a shockingly fast rate. Considering the fact that every ten trees he help plant will captures close to one ton of C02. That’s a big deal.
