Signify Announces New Philips Hue Smart Lighting Products

I’ve been longing for new Hue products, so to see that Signify is giving us what we wanted seems like a blessing. Starting with the Hue Go; A portable smart lamp that offers not just white but colored lights, including a pre-set of light recipes and scenes so you can always set the mood. Now Bluetooth-compatible, you can now control the Hue Go with the Hue app or with your voice through Google or Alexa. Available in November, the Phillips Hue Go will go on sale for $79.99.

The Philips Hue Smart Plug turns anywhere you can’t place a Hue bulb into a smart light. By simply connecting any lamp into the plug, you can add it to your Hue setup, allowing you to dim to your liking, even with the sound of your voice.

The Philips Hue Smart button, though subtle in size, packs a big punch — in a single press, you can control your Hue lights however you like, or press and hold the button to brighten and dim your lights.

When connected to the Philips Hue bridge, you can configure the button, so it turns your lights to a pre-set shade of white light and brightness level that suits the time of day; in the morning, one press will turn your lights to cool, energizing tones, and in the evening, one press will trigger warmer, dimmer light settings. With a magnetic backside and its adhesive mini mount, you can place the Philips Hue Smart button wherever you need it. It also includes a larger backplate to replace or complement your existing standard, single gang wall switch.

The Philips Hue Smart plug and the Philips Hue Smart button are available in October for $39.99 and $19.99, respectively.

And something new for the Hue lineup is the E12 Candle bulbs which are perfect for chandeliers or ceiling fans. Connecting through Bluetooth or a Hue Bridge, the bulbs offer wireless dimming from any room, and a two-pack will be available for $32.00
