The other day I reviewed mophie’s 3-in-1 charging pad. It’s ideal for someone who has an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPod’s with a wireless charging case. I have an iPhone. I have an Apple Watch. But I don’t have AirPods. Mophie’s dual wireless charging pad isn’t specifically designed for AirPods so, for me, it is a better option.

At 7.87″ by 3.54″ by 0.43″, the dual wireless charging pad is a bit larger than the 3-in-1 charging pad we previously reviewed. It doesn’t have a dedicated spot for AirPods, and it doesn’t have a dedicated Apple Watch charger. But while that means it doesn’t have specific charging spots for the watch or AirPods, it also means this dual wireless charging pad is more flexible and future-proof. As the company explains, it is “engineered to safely deliver up to 7.5W of fast charge power-optimized for iPhone.”
The main surface of the charging pad has two Qi charging coils. One is on the left side while the second is on the right side. The pad is large enough that two phones or one phone and one pair of AirPod’s with a wireless charging case can be laid on top and charged simultaneously.
At the front of the charging pad, there are power indicator lights for each of the two Qi wireless charging locations.
In addition, the charging pad has a USB-A port on the back. That means you can plug the charging cable that came with your Apple Watch into the charging pad and charge your watch too.
So while it may not be as sleek as the dedicated watch charger built into the 3-in-1, it is a more flexible option and, if my next Apple Watch changes its charging technology, all I have to do is plug the new charging cable in.

The mophie Dual Wireless Charging Pad is a great way to charge all your devices. It has two seats for fast-charging Qi-enabled devices. It has an additional USB-A charging port so you can charge a third device at the same time. Its shiny black surface is a bit of a fingerprint magnet, but that’s a small price to pay for a device that will keep all your mobile devices charged in a simple and convenient way.
