There are a lot of exciting things in store for the ThinkPads. Every new computer is going to sport Modern Standby, Wake on Voice, Dolby Audio, and Dolby Vision. Modern Standby is a neat trick where the device runs on low suspended power but remains in sync, so you won’t have to wait for your emails and Facebook notifications to sync up once the computer is on. They also sport fast resume and Wake on Voice, so your productivity will be lightning fast. Plus your Skype work call will look and sound amazing with Dolby running the show. Just make sure you either put pants on or stay seated if you’re working remotely — even Lenovo’s privacy shutter on the webcam can’t protect you from any wardrobe malfunctions in HD.

First up in the refreshed ThinkPads is the T series — it’s what you picture when you hear “ThinkPad”, with either a 14 or 15″ screen, and either AMD Ryzen PRO 4000 or 10th Gen Intel Core vPro processors. The T14/T14S/T15 will be out in Q2 2020 start at $829-$1,079, depending on screen size.

If you like your computer a bit more compact, there are also the X13 and X13 Yoga series. As the name implies, these are more compact with 13″ screens, and you have your choice of traditional builds or the more flexible Yoga series because everyone loves when their computer has more range of motion than the average office worker. The plain X13 will start at $849, with the Yoga variant starting at $1,099.

Finally, if you want to live that ThinkPad life but are on a tighter budget, there’s the L series. It offers 14 and 15″ screen options, and also comes in regular and Yoga variations, so your computer can flex even if your budget can’t. Look for it in 13″ regular and Yoga models (starting at $679/$799), as well as traditional builds in 14 and 15″ models (both starting at $649).
