This year, IFA will consist of a much smaller live convention coupled with a virtual show. Even though the pandemic travel restrictions have made it just about impossible for press from the states to attend, there will still be lots of news to share. One of the IFA press conferences I never miss is Harman’s, and even though things will be very different this year, there are still plenty of exciting new JBL offerings to check out.

JBL CLUB PRO+ True Wireless Headphones

The JBL Club Pro+ True Wireless Headphones have adaptive noise canceling, and they feature Ambient Aware and TalkThru. The in-ear headphones are IPX4 water and sweatproof, and they have easy touch controls. You’ll get perfect stereo calls with their dual-mic technology, and the left and right buds are independent of each other, each with their own connection. They offer up to 8 hours of battery life (up to 6, if you are using ANC), and the case also acts as a charger for another 24 hours. When it is time to recharge, the headphones use wireless Qi charging powered by USB Type-C. The CLUB PRO+ headphones are powered by 6.8mm dynamic drivers and feature the JBL sound we’ve all come to love; they also have Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa built-in.

You’ll be able to buy the JBL CLUB Pro+ in black starting on October 25, and they will cost $199.95.

JBL PartyBox 310

I absolutely loved reviewing the JBL PartyBox 300 last year; it was a perfect (albeit huge), semi-portable solution for filling the backyard with music and lights, and the latest update for this huge speaker is the PartyBox 310. With the PatyBox 310, you get 240W of powerful JBL Pro Sound. A welcome addition to the 310 is the smooth-glide wheels; it will be much easier to move this version around! 18 hours of battery life mean you can put music in otherwise inaccessible places, and there is a mesmerizing light show that syncs with the music at the touch of a button. Because it is meant to be used outdoors without worry, the PartyBox 310 is IPX4 splashproof, and there are backlit buttons for DJ control in the dark. It’s even got dual-mic and guitar inputs with built-in vocal tuning if an impromptu sing-along strikes your fancy; you can connect it to your music either by Bluetooth or with USB input. If you need an even bigger sound, you can link two PartyBox 310s together for a massive, stereo effect. The PartyBox 310 can be controlled through the JBL PartyBox App, with it you can switch tracks, customize the light show, and more.

The JBL PartyBox 310 will be available on October 25, and it will cost $499.95.

JBL PartyBox On-The-Go

Sized a bit smaller than the full-size PartyBoxes, the new JBL PartyBox On-The-Go should also be a hit with anyone who wants powerful JBL sound with a bit more portability; it even includes a padded shoulder strap. The PartyBox On-The-Go features 100W sound output, and it has an included wireless mic with bass, treble, and echo tuning; it also has physical mic and guitar inputs. Just as you can with the larger PartyBox, you’ll be able to enjoy a light show that is synchronized to the beat of your music with up to 6 hours of battery life. The PartyBox On-The-Go is meant to be enjoyed outdoors without worry, so it is also IPX4 splashproof. And yes, if one is not enough, you can like two of them together for a much bigger, stereo experience.

The JBL PartyBox On-The-Go will be available on October 25 for $299.95.

JBL Clip 4

The JBL Clip series is one of the cutest and most portable ways to keep your music handy — it has an integrated (and upgraded) carabiner that can be attached to your backpack, making it perfect for travel. Making it even more perfect for day to day use, it is IP67 waterproof and dustproof, so you won’t have to worry about it if you get caught in a downpour while exploring Rome (true story). The Clip 4 charges via USB Type-C, and gets up to 10 hours of battery life. It connects to your — just clip it on and go!smartphone via Bluetooth v5.1, which will help with battery life on both of your devices. The JBL Clip 4 comes in a bunch of colors, so there’s sure to be something that suits your personality.

The JBL Clip 4 will be available in December for $69.95.

JBL Go 3

The JBL Go 3 may be their smallest and most ultra-portable speaker, but it is no slacker; it still offers the JBL sound we love with rich, punchy bass. It’s IP67 waterproof and dustproof, so you can use it anywhere (take advantage of the built-in loop), and it connects to any streaming device via Bluetooth v5.1. It gets up to 5 hours of battery life, and it recharges via USB Type-C. There are a bunch of colors available, and they are inexpensive enough that they’ll make a thoughtful gift that won’t break the bank.

The JBL Go 3 will be available in October for $39.95.

JBL Xtreme 3

If you want big sound but aren’t ready for PartyBox-sized sound, you’ll love the JBL Xtreme 3. A built-in hand strap makes this larger portable speaker easier to tote, and it features four drivers and two bass radiators for booming sound. You’ll get up to 15 hours of battery life with it, and it’s IP67 waterproof and dustproof meaning you can take it to the pool and not worry — even if someone decides to dunk it! It even has a built-in powerbank if you need to top off your Bluetooth v5.1 streaming smartphone. Now that’s pretty handy!

The JBL Xtreme 3 will be available in October 2020 for 299 EUR and in the U.S. in November for $349.95 on jbl.com.

You’ll be able to find all of these products as their respective release dates hit on the JBL site
