Porsche Design Acer Book RS: Maybe you thought, “Acer? Far too pedestrian for me!” Don’t worry, they’ve got you covered with a partnership with Porsche, so your computer looks as good as you do [when you’re not in a pandemic working in sweats]. An all-metal chassis, 11th gen Intel Core, and what Acer describes as “minimalist design elements.” Look for it in December, starting at $1,399.99.

Swift 3X: Acer crammed a 14″ FHD screen, 17.5 hours of battery life, an Intel 11th gen Core processor, and new Intel Iris discrete graphics, all starting at only $899.99 this December.

Spin 3 and Spin 5: The “spin” here refers to the convertible aspect of these two devices, providing a touchscreen for both handwriting/sketching and typed input. Spin 5 has a 13.5″ 3:2 aspect screen, Corning Gorilla Glass, and an antibacterial coating, while Spin 3 offers a 16:10 aspect 13.3″ screen. Look for them starting at $999.99 for Spin 5 in March 2021 and $849.99 for Spin 3 in February 2021.

Aspire 5: Aspire 5 is the computer line that offers something for everyone. You can get it in 14″, 15.6″, and 17″ screen sizes, as well as 11th gen Intel Core processors and either Intel Iris Xe or NVIDIA GeForce MX450 graphics. 14″ and 15.6″ sizes will be available this December, starting at $499.99, while the 17″ variant will ship in February 2021, starting at $549.99.

Chromebook Spin 513: Acer tries to keep their naming conventions pretty clear, so it shouldn’t surprise you that this is a convertible Chromebook. If it does, we can’t help you there. In any case, Spin 513 comes in consumer and enterprise versions and offers optional 4G LTE. The consumer flavor will start at $399.99 in February 2021, while the enterprise edition will ship starting at $699.99 in March 2021.

Chromebook CX14: Ok, Acer keeps MOST of their naming conventions clear. The CX14 is a ChromeOS desktop, so if you’re more of a “multiple monitors at your desk” person, they’ve got you covered there. Again, this, too, is coming in consumer and enterprise versions, coming in the first quarter of 2021 for $259.99 and $409.99, respectively.

ConceptD 7 and ConceptD 7 Pro: Maybe you’re ready to design the next great animated film. Or maybe you just really, really, really like your Solitaire games to be as snappy as technologically possible. No matter the reason, these sport 10th gen Intel Processors and Vortex Flow Thermals, so you hopefully won’t burn your thighs while working. Look for the ConceptD 7 to start at $3,299.99 and the ConceptD 7 Pro at $3,499.99 this December. A ConceptD 300 Desktop is coming soon, pricing and availability TBD.

TravelMate Series: Remember business travel? Acer figures eventually you’ll get sent on some business trip somewhere, and when you do, you’ll need a solid laptop companion. TravelMate laptops have optional 4G, Intel 11th Gen Core Processors, and 810G military durability compliance, so they’ll survive a rough flight probably better than you will. The TravelMate Spin P4 can be rotated 360 degrees and starts at $999.99, while the TravelMate P2 starts at $799.99 and the non-spin P4 at $899.99.

Predator Monitors: To the best of my knowledge, these monitors will not hunt you down, but please note that Gear Diary is not responsible if you wake up to find your foot being munched by a gaming monitor. With that warning out of the way, a few new Predator-line monitors are coming. Predator XB273U NV will offer up to 170Hz refresh rate overclocking and a 27″ QHD display starting at $549.99 this December. 24.5″, G-SYNC-Compatible Predator XB253Q GW sports an FHD IPS screen and 280Hz overclocking, starting at $429.99 in January 2021. 32″ G-SYNC-compatible Predator XB323U GX boasts QHD alongside 27oHz overclocking, coming January 2021. Finally, Predator X34 GS is a 34″ curved monitor, coming this December starting at $999.99.

Nitro Monitors: Nitro XV272U KV will offer QHD and 170Hz overclocking starting at $399.99 this December, while Nitro XV272 LV offers FHD and 165Hz overlocking and will start at $279.99 in December.

Acer CBL272U: This is a QHD prosumer monitor with Eyesafe, so it hopefully lowers your chances of getting a massive headache while working. Look for it in January 2021, starting at $299.99.
